Our company name grew out of our mantra of "Focus." We maintain focus on what our clients’ personal needs and specifications are. The process starts with a conversation, whereby we thoroughly listen to what our clients are looking for and discuss with them their best possible options. For us, it isn’t about renting a particular NYC apartment – it’s about making the right fit. The conversation doesn’t just cover the basics about New York City’s various neighborhoods – we talk about what their commutes will be like, the schools in that district, value, space, amenities and where they might want to make any trade-offs. In other words, the inside scoop from real New York apartment renters.
The next step is research.
We start emailing pictures and floorplans that fit our clients’ unique specifications and help them get a real concept of what their options are here in New York. This gives them the ability to start to pinpoint what works best for them before they even get to New York.
For those clients coming to New York City to choose their apartment, we schedule plenty of time to look at the apartments that we’ve already collectively narrowed down and give them a chance to get a good idea of the space and the neighborhood. We guide them through all the application paperwork and act as their liaison after they leave the city to finalize any details (have leases fedexed out, reserve move-in elevators, etc.). This way they can have their apartment waiting when they make their big move to New York.
We also have been able to help clients secure an apartment before they even step foot in NYC. It’s all about giving them the best information about the apartments they’re looking for, the New York neighborhood they would like to move to and pictures and first hand descriptions of the apartments that they desire that has allowed us to hand over the keys to their new home right when they come in from the airport.
